Hecker Camp #443 Secretary

Six members of the Col. Friedrich K. Hecker Camp #443 attended the O’Fallon, Illinois Veterans Day Parade Nov. 11. The attendees are also Veterans of the U.S. military. They included (pictured left to right) Past Camp Commander (PCC) Garry Ladd (U.S. Navy); Brother Gerald Sonnenberg (U.S. Air Force); Senior Vice Commander John Stanton (U.S. Army); Brother Richard Piper (U.S. Army); Camp Commander Russell Schleicher (U.S. Army); PCC Greg Zelinske (U.S. Air Force). Thank you to Donna Rees who drove a trailing vehicle with CC Schleicher inside.

The event is hosted annually by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 805 in O’Fallon. A large crowd and beautiful weather were highlights of the event. Thank you to all who participated to honor our Veterans. (Photo by Donna Rees)
